The founders of modePharma include:
Rima Gupta, Director and Clinical Trials Pharmacist
Rima is a pharmacist and co-founded MODEPHARMA in 2007. She brings eight years of operational and management experience covering a range of organisations in the UK and North America. As a result, she has a deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Over the years, Rima has developed in-depth expertise in manufacturing investigational medicinal products, clinical trials management, pharmacy operations (including specials manufacturing) and quality control.
Prior to MODEPHARMA, Rima held senior positions in Quintiles (a prominent global contract research organisation), Martindale Pharmaceuticals and the National Health Service (NHS). Here, she worked in the heavily regulated industry of specials manufacturing and clinical trials. She has also been responsible in setting up a trial unit and procedures, and tackling regulatory and governance issues.
Rima has a B.Sc.Pharm and graduated with honours from the University of Alberta and is registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. She is trained in Good Manufacturing Practice and is certified in Good Clinical Practice.
Oliver Gupta, Director and Project Manager
Oliver co-founded MODEPHARMA in 2007 and brings nearly a decade of experience in management consulting, project management, engineering and international partnering to the company.
Prior to forming MODEPHARMA, Oliver has worked with numerous senior-most executives of global corporations advising them on cutting-edge strategy, functional management and governance issues.
Oliver has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management and graduated with honours from the Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany. He is trained in Good Manufacturing Practice and is certified in Good Clinical Practice.
He is author and contributor to numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and books on intellectual capital and innovation management.
